Detective Jeff Davis said the robbery occurred while the store was open for normal business hours that evening when two men entered and held the cashier at gunpoint, physically grabbing her and putting a gun to her head.
The men left with an undisclosed amount of money and fled on foot.
It is not clear whether both men were armed, Davis said. “The cashier was extremely lucky to not be injured due to the actions of the gunmen.”
Whether this robbery was related to an attempted robbery that occurred at the Oakland Mini Mart a week later is unknown, Davis said.
