Larry was born in Halifax County, November 4, 1956 to the late Edward Van Wilson and Margaret Marie Griffin Wilson. He was also preceded in death by two sisters: Connie Wilson and Gloria Hernandez; brother: Jimmy Wilson.
He was an avid ballplayer, loved shooting pool and lived life to the fullest.
Larry was survived by his daughter: Brandy Wilson of Roanoke Rapids; his step-daughter: Kisha Harper of Littleton; two grandchildren: Brandon Tanner and Hannah Holmiquist; his nieces and nephews: Boogie Johnson, Troy Johnson, Tammy Straughen, Timmy Hollowell and Eddie Wilson.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, November 12, 2014 at Hockaday Funeral and Cremation Service with Rev. Mike Little officiating. The family will receive friends from 7:00 – 8:30 P.M. Tuesday, November 11, 2014 at the funeral home and other times at the home.
