The emails will also include media releases trying to identify suspects, and information about calls in the area of the business. Emails will be sent as soon as possible when counterfeit checks or money surface anywhere in the county.

Periodic emails regarding safety tips will also be sent by the sheriff.

As a reminder, citizens can sign up for E-sheriff program the same way.

Include your email address and the area of the county that you reside in,the closest post office location, and you will start receiving information about crime trends in your neighborhood. Citizens can also ask private questions about laws and other matters.

“These programs have proven success in promoting a better quality of life in communities, and we encourage participation,” Tripp said.
