Head coach Jim Whitmire comments on the game:
“We came out "flat" in the first half. The second half
was a completely different circumstance. We turned
up the defensive intensity and finally had some quality
shots fall. This is the second 60 plus point total for a
game. We are still averaging 50 plus per game. We
are growing up as a team and the girls continue to
play as a team. This was the first game that we
FINISHED. The intensity was high until the last 2 minutes
I am proud of the total effort and am convinced, we
have some big wins ahead. "We started as a team, play
as a team, and will finish as a team".

and clamped down defensively when we needed too.”
