Chaloner Middle wins after Christmas break

Middle school basketball action returned to the court Monday after the two week Christmas break.

 

Chaloner Middle girls beat Weldon 39-25.

Leading scorers for Chaloner were:  Anna Vann with 17 points, Abbie Carpenter with 12 points and Michelle Stewart with 10 points.

Leading scorer for Weldon was Kayn'sma with 10 points.

 

Chaloner Middle boys beat Weldon 45-26.

Leading scorers for Chaloner were: Corey Jenkins with 18 points, Peyton Clapton with 10 points, A'Jalon Brown with 9 points, Jake Van Dam with 6 points and Xhavier Robinson with 2 points.

Chaloner boys have a 4-1 conference record.

 

Enfield Middle boys beat Rocky Mount Prep. 52-41.

Enfield boys have a 4-1 conference record.

 

Conway Middle girls beat Gaston Middle 54-8.

Conway scorers were: Aaliyah Ramsey with 24 points, Rolanda Williams with 10 points, Rashauna Grant with 6 points, Princess Rogers with 6 points, Dianna Gee with 4 points and Saa Naudia Deloatch with 4 points.

 

Conway Middle boys lost to Gaston Middle 19-38.

Conway Middle scorers were: Torrey Futrell with 6 points, Nyree Rogers with 4 points, Jimmy Eley with 2 points, Tristan Williams-Gamor with 4 points and James Gray with 3 points.

 

William R. Davie Middle will play at GCP Tuesday with tip=off at 4:30 PM.
