Valley Cheer brings home the gold from the Sweetheart Classic in Chapel Hill

"The Sweetheart Classic was such a great day for our program overall," states Coach Jennifer Fowler, "we had great performances all the way around." The following is alittle about each team from Valley Cheer.

The Sr2 Glam:  We are so proud of you!  First place! This team gives great performances, their routine and energy is unstoppable. We can't wait to see what the rest of the season holds for Glam.

The Mini Sparkles had another great performanc!  We are so proud of these kids.  They have performed consistently great. They make us so proud.  The judges just absolutely love them.  Two 1st places and one 2nd place is fantastic for a mini team season.

We couldn't be more proud of the progress we have seen in the Youth 2 Glitter team.  They have struggled through losing teammates, sickness, and injuries.  These girls have worked so very hard and it showed on Saturday.  That 2nd place finish felt like first to us, and they weren't very far from 1st !  They have gotten consistently better at each competition.  To us this is what it is all about, working hard, making progress, and putting on performances they can be proud of.  If these girls stick together they are going to be so AMAZING.

Junior 3 Dazzle: Dazzle did a wonderful job.  We were so impressed with their performance.  That division was tough and we were very 2nd place!!!  This team is consistent and although the placements so far haven't reflected it, the scores have been very good.  JR 3 can definitely hang with the best of the best.

Sr4 Diamond:  This was their best performance yet!!  The girls decided that they wanted to hit a routine just for themselves and that is exactly what they did.  We are so proud of the effort and the way they all pushed themselves to do their best.  We hope that this performance motivates them to push themselves even more.  We are looking forward to see how much they will grow in their next performance.

All of our performances at Sweetheart Classic were ones we can all be proud of.  We are proud of Valley cheer and what our program represents.  We are seeing first hand that hard work and dedication pays off.
