Captain M.D. DeLoatch Sr. of the Northampton County Sheriff's Office said the third victim was found hiding in the nearby woods off Bryantown Road. He was not injured, but scared to come out.
Christopher Pierre Smith, 39, is wanted for two counts of attempted murder and two counts of assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury, counts that reflect the two men who were shot.
He is also wanted for assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill for shooting at the victim later located in the woods. A warrant has also been obtained for his arrest for a count of shooting into an occupied or moving vehicle.
DeLoatch said Smith is considered to be armed and dangerous. He declined to discuss any areas that Smith may frequent.
The motive at least partially involves money being owed, although DeLoatch said that part of the shooting remains under investigation.
Law enforcement was called to the scene around 1:45 and learned a vehicle came into Smith's yard. Smith came out of his house and fired between 10 to 12 times into car, striking one man twice and another once.
The men got out of the car as the shots were being fired. The two victims who were struck were found in a nearby field and are currently listed in stable condition, DeLoatch said.
It is believed Smith may have fled the scene on a green Mazda Protege, but may have switched vehicles.
Smith is described as a black male with a close haircut who stands between 6-feet to 6-feet, 1-inches tall and weighs between 225 to 230 pounds.
