A Roanoke Rapids man was arrested Saturday for a January 31 robbery.

Jimmie Lee Harrison, 25, faces two counts of conspiracy to commit robbery and two counts of robbery with a dangerous weapon.

Detective Obert Wiltsie of the Halifax County Sheriff's Office said the charges stem from a robbery that occurred on the roadside of Highway 48 near Northwest Halifax High School in the early morning hours.

Harrison was in a vehicle with the two victims who were held at gunpoint and robbed of money.

The sheriff's office is looking for two other people in the case, Wiltsie said.

Harrison was picked up by the Roanoke Rapids Police Department on Wiltsie's warrants.

He was given a $100,000 bond and March 25 court date. Investigation continues.
