Chelsea's Angels, Progressions Dance Center competion team finished their best competition season yet!

They went to three different competitions during the month of March (Newport News, VA, Morehead City, NC, & Smithfield, NC) and had a very successful experience each time.

The team took 6 solos, 2 duets, and 7 group dances to each competition, and brought home numerous Elite High Gold, Platinum, & even Diamond scores for thier performances.

Elizabeth Dunlow landed an 2nd Overall trophy and two 1st Overall Trophies with her clogging solo, while Alyssa Baker was 5th Overall at one competition, 3rd Overall at another, and 2nd Overall at the third with her tap solo. Sydney Connell landed 3rd Overall, 2nd Overall, & 1st Overall with her tap solo. Olivia Kidd landed in the top 10 with a 7th Overall, while Grace Evans brought home a 6th Overall, and Hailey Kidd got an 8th Overall at the various events.

Elizabeth Dunlow & Sydney Connell placed 1st Overall and had the highest score of the day in their division, not once, but twice for their duet, and landed a 2nd Overall as well. Hailey Kidd and Olivia Kidd also performed a duet and placed 3rd Overall at one of the competitions.

Chelsea's Silver Angels brought home a 3rd Overall for their clogging dance, and a 7th Overall for their lyrical dance.

Chelsea's Gold Angels place 3rd Overall & 1st Overall with their tap dance. They also got 2nd Overall for their lyrical dance, and 3rd Overall for their clogging performance.

All 23 of the Angels performed a clogging dance together and placed 1st Overall at one event.

Progressions owner Chelsea Jernigan said, "It was a very successful competition season, and I was so proud of all of the hard work the girls put into their dances. Their scores improved from one competition to the next, and I don't think a dance teacher could ask for anything else. They had a great time this year, and we are looking forward to auditions for next year's group of Angels. I can't wait to see what the new season will hold!
