The Yellow Jackets would get off to a fast start. Josh Elias would reach base on a single and Nick Horvath on a walk; a wild pitch advanced the runners to second and third.

The Wildcats would load the bases in the bottom of the third on three consecutive Warren walks. Bunn's Thomas Dean would connect for a sacrifice fly to put the Wildcats on the scoreboard.

The next batter hit the ball just over Warren's head to load the bases again.

Warren was able to mitigate the damage with a ground ball-inducing pitch to end the inning.

In the top of the fourth, Bunn's Logan Jackson and Josh Boone reached base to start the inning.

With two men on, Coach Chris Cullom elected to play small ball, sacrificing his next batter to advance the runners 90 feet.

Dillion Hopkins hit a sacrifice fly to left to tie the game at 2-2.

Roanoke Rapids would take the lead again in the top of the fifth.

Cameron Rogerson reached on a single and Jarret Williamson on a fielder's choice; Williamson would steal second the next batter up, putting two runners in scoring position.

Rogerson would score on a Bunn error, giving the Yellow Jackets a 3-2 lead.

The Wildcats' bats would wake up in the bottom of the sixth.

The first batter Warren faced, Ian Land, hit a rope over the wall in left, tying the game at 3-3.

Later in the inning, Nick Williams, would lay down a sacrifice bunt, scoring Logan Jackson to give Bunn the lead at 4-3.

In the bottom of the seventh, Snead brought in Hovarth to pitch, who retired the side in order; pushing the game into extra innings.
