Jake Merritt started on the mound pitching for the U-10 Roanoke Rapids All-stars. Merritt pitched 2 innings allowing 2 hits, no runs and with 1 strike out. Nate Riggs pitched the final 2 innings of the ballgame with no hits and runs allowed and with 2 strikeouts.

Leading hitters at the plate for the Roanoke Rapids All-stars were Braxton Hammack going 3/4 with a 2 run homer and 2 singles, Colin Clements 2/3 with 2 singles, Caleb Slaughter was 2/2, Brayden Mills was 3/3, Hayden Garner was 3/4 with a double and 2 singles, Braxton Coggins and Nate Riggs were both 1/2 at the plate.  

Head Coach Chris Clements stated "Weeks of hard practice led us to an overall good performance in the field and at the plate."

The Roanoke Rapids team will face Henderson/Vance All-stars Friday at 3 PM on Dickens field at Ledgerwood Park in Roanoke Rapids.
