The 2-0 Roanoke Rapids All-stars will face West Raleigh also 2-0 Saturday morning at 11 AM at Ledgerwood Park in the winners bracket.

Starting on the mound for Roanoke Rapids was Nate Riggs, he pitched the first 2 innings of the Ballgame allowing 3 hits and 3 runs.  Next Jake Merritt pitched 3 innings allowing no runs with 2 strikeouts. Carter Hatcher closed the game on the mound pitching 1 inning allowing 1 run and 1 strikeout.

At the plate for the Roanoke Rapid All-stars: Carter Hatcher went 2/3 with a double, Braxton Hammack with his second 2 run home-run of the tournament, Colin Clements went 2/2, Caleb Slaughter went 1/4 with a double, Nate Riggs went 2/3, while Matthew MacNichol went 1/2.

If Roanoke Rapids wins the 11 AM game they will be in the Area 3 Championship Sunday, if they lose they will play again Saturday at 3 PM.

There is no gate fee, so come out and support your local Under 10 Baseball all-stars at Ledgerwood Park.
