The last person wanted in the September 24 murder of Wilton Cotton was returned to Halifax County today.
Quandre Alston, a 20-year-old Weldon man, is currently in custody in Baltimore, and waiting extradition proceedings in the shooting death of Wilton Cotton, a murder arrest warrants say was over $595.33 in currency and one ounce of marijuana.

One man wanted in the Wilton Cotton murder surrendered Tuesday night while the other was taken into custody in rural Nash County and delivered to Halifax County this morning. The one arrested in Nash County was later freed.
