Tony Curtis Vaughan, 45, of Las Vegas, Nevada, passed away on Tuesday, March 19, 2024.

Mr. Vaughan was born in Pitt County on January 21, 1979 to the late Tony Elvis Vaughan and Carolyn Elizabeth Gardner Vaughan. He was a loving father, brother, and uncle. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his oldest son, Austin Michael Vaughan.

Tony was in the United States Air Force from 1997 until 2013 and then worked as an assistant chief of operations fireman with the United States Department of Defense at USAF Plant 42.

He is survived by his son, Joshua Cody Stamm of Greenville, North Carolina; sister, Teresa Harrell and husband Jay of Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina; nephew, Wil Harrell of Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina; also surviving are his fiancée, Brandy Vaughan and her daughter, Emma Carnell, both of Las Vegas, Nevada.

The family will have a gathering of friends and family to celebrate Tony’s life on Saturday, April 13, 2024 at Askew Funeral and Cremation Services in Roanoke Rapids at 11:00 am until 12 noon.
