Patricia Cox Hagood, 76, of Clayton formerly of Roanoke Rapids passed away Sunday, October 22, 2023.

Patricia was born in Halifax County on August 21, 1947, to the late John and Gertrude Cox. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Billy and James Cox.

Patricia is survived by her children, Juliette Leigh Troxler and her husband David of Clayton, Bill Leggett and his wife Pauliette of Missouri and Beth Leggett of Rich Square; several grandchildren and nieces and nephews; her brother, Bobby Cox and his wife Joanne; her sister, Lillian Cox Daniels.

A celebration of life service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, November 3, 2023, in the chapel of McLaurin Funeral Home in Clayton. The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 2:00 P.M. prior to the service.
