National Animal Control Officer Appreciation Week is celebrated every year on the second full week of April.

This year, it takes place from April 14-20, 2024.

It’s a week when communities are encouraged to learn about what the job of animal control really entails and to be grateful for those who do them.

We are so proud of our own Pete Wilson.

This week of appreciation is designed to give recognition to the hard-working efforts and the huge amounts of personal time and resources Pete provides, while serving our city.

We want to take this week to honor and say thankyou to Pete for all that he does.

We  love you Pete.
