The Annual Jo Story Senior Center Stew & Sandwich Dinner has been set for Thursday from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.  

Cost is $7 and includes Brunswick stew, a sandwich, a drink and a dessert.  

Tickets can be purchased from a senior club member or stop by the center at 701 Jackson Street in Roanoke Rapids.  

Stew quarts will be sold after the event for $8 per quart.

This event raises money for the Jo Story Senior Partnership, a non-profit group that was organized to support programs and expand services at the Jo Story Senior Center.
