A copy of the Proposed Budget for FY 2020 - 2021 for the City of Roanoke Rapids has been presented to the Roanoke Rapids City Council, and is available for public inspection on the City’s website and in the City Clerk’s Office by appointment. The public hearing scheduled during the June 2, 2020 City Council meeting was tabled until June 16, 2020 at 5:15 p.m. in the Lloyd Andrews City Meeting Hall, 700 Jackson Street, Roanoke Rapids, NC.  Citizens are invited to make written or oral comments.

HYDRANT TESTING: The Roanoke Rapids Fire Department will begin testing hydrants Monday, June 8, 2020. Please check your tap water for discoloration before drinking, bathing or washing clothes. If your water is discolored, turn the cold water tap on until the water runs clear. We hope to finish hydrant testing as soon as possible. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
