RV Power ends with a 5-2 tournament record

 

RV Powers (03) U10 Travel girls fast pitch softball team started play Sunday in the loser bracket in Micro at the NCUSSSA tournament, but battled by beating the Fury 6-5 in extra innings and the Diamond Divas 10-9. The Dirt Devils the team that sent them to the loser bracket would be the ones who ended the run for the team this weekend 4-12 with a 5-2 record for the weekend.

The RV Power team had an amazing weekend with a 5th place out of 12 teams, said head coach Jimmy Powers. "It was a team effort by all and our offense and defense were kicking on all cylinders. The coaches are all very excited about the team efforts put forth all weekend. The girls worked extra hard this morning to fight off a deficit against the Fury team in an extra inning. The RV Power team looks forward to playing hard this fall and truly learning what it means to be a team,” Powers added.
