A local Men's softball team traveled to Raleigh for NC finals

The Roanoke Valley men’s Slow pitch softball team Apostles went to Raleigh this past weekend and played at Walnut Creek. They battled it out with seventeen other teams in the men’s slow pitch softball finals for NC.

The team lost out in the championship game against the team Coalition. So the team Apostles finished second in the state finals.

Team members are Josh Lassiter, Josh Stallings, Brent Manning, Jason Long, Hunter Deloatch, Judd Smith, Mike Powell, Jeffrey Manning, Erik Gupton, Travis Mason, Michael Stringer, Billy Lynch, Jon Denton and Coach Butch Barber.
