Fishers travel to Tarboro for action

Roanoke Valley Fishers went 2-2 on the weekend against some stiff competition. Saturday - beat Carolina Pilots (out of Wilson) 7-6. Lost to K-Tribe (out of Kinston) 3-5. Sunday - beat Connie Corey Sluggers (out of Greenville) 9-3. Lost to K-Tribe 17-9. Came in 3rd place in the tournament. They were in some tough spots several times this weekend and they showed a lot of heart as they came from behind in their 2 wins.
