Halifax opens first round conference volleyball tournament at home

Halifax Academy varsity volleyball head coach Wendy Tickle started all her seniors Tuesday afternoon against Faith Christian. Number two seed Halifax beat Faith in three straight sets. Senior Jamie Harris is sidelined recovering from an injury, but other seniors Anna Glover, Jordan Jean, Emily Conner, Hayley Wood and Ryanne Hilliard all started and played most of the entire sets.

Set one  :  25-14 Halifax 

Set two  :  25-6  Halifax

Set three:  25-20 Halifax

Halifax travels to Grace Christian Friday to play the next round and most likely will face Parrott Academy. Halifax lost to Parrott earlier in the season in five sets and Parrott forfeited last week due to concerns over the wet gym floor at Halifax.
