Halifax-Northampton Midget League Superbowl Champions
In only their second year of existence, the Roanoke Rapids Hornets were able to avenge a regular season loss to GCP by winning the Halifax Northampton midget league super bowl Saturday by a score of 24-0.

The hornets' Isaiah Robinson ran the opening kickoff back for 6 points and they never looked back.
Strong seniorleadership from GB Greg Hamlin helped Robinson and Chaseten Martin to add touchdowns of their own as well as a 50 yd pass from Trevor Harrison to Luke Campbell. The hornets defense continued their strong play that only gave up 6 points in the final 2 games.
