Jimmie Johnson wins at Texas

Jimmie Johnson drove his LOWE'S Chevrolet to victory Sunday evening at Texas Motor Speedway. In doing so, he has taken over the NASCAR SPRINT CUP CHAMPIONSHIP chase in the points as well by seven points over Matt Kenseth.

The power under the hood of the #48 Chevy was build by none other than Halifax County native Earl Wheeler. Wheeler has been a long time engine builder for Hendricks Motorsports. "This was a big win for us. I am really excited", said Wheeler.
