Second place weekend finish in Virginia

Roanoke Rapids resident and Chaloner Middle school eight grade softball player Kim Etheridge has been playing girls travel softball with the Richmond based Richmond Rampage U-14 team.

This past weekend the Richmond Rampage placed 2nd in the "Virginia NSA Fall State tournament" this weekend in Powhatan, VA.

Etheridge pitched 2 games Saturday winning 6-1 and 5-2 and on Sunday she pitched 2 games winning both with scores 7-0 and 5-2 in semi final. The team finished with a 5-2 overall record.
