A present well deserved, just happened to receive at Christmas time

The Halifax-Northampton Midget football League 2013 Varsity Super Bowl Champions, Roanoke Rapids Hornets were presented their Championship rings Saturday afternoon at Ledger-wood Park.

Though the game was back in September, the rings had to be designed and custom made with the Hornet colors. League President Darryl Whittle stated before the crowd of players and parents. "It was suggested from another teams parent and I checked into team and placed the order," added Whittle. This will a tradition that will continue every year for the Varsity Super Bowl winning team.
