Both Halifax Academy JV and varsity girls and boys basketball teams beat Northeast Academy

Halifax Academy JV girls beat Northeast Academy 32-10.

Leading scorers were for Halifax Jordan Strickland with 7 points, Drew Rose with 6 points, Candace Smith and Anna Garrett with 4 points each, Madison Owens with 3 points, Brooke Robertson, Raven Myrick and Madison Glover with 2 points each. Leading scorers for Northeast Academy were Kierston Poison with 6 points, Carly Stephenson and Haley Jilcott with 2 points each.

Halifax Academy JV boys beat Northeast Academy 67-7.

Leading scorers for Halifax were Brandon Moody with 14 points, Garrett Smith with 11 points and Grant Morris with 9 points.

Halifax Academy Varsity girls beat Northeast Academy 85-10.

Leading scorers for Halifax were Kelly Williams with 33 points, Hayley Wood with 22 points. Leading scorers for NEA were Jodie Warmack and Robyne Barnes with 4 points each.

Halifax Academy Varsity boys beat Northeast Academy 59-35.

Leading scorers for Halifax were Garrett Morris with 29 points, Austin Starnes and Holden Strickland with 10 points each. Leading scorers for NEA were Nathan Rowe with 10 points, Christian Fleetwood and Brandon Edwards with 6 points each.

Halifax Academy travels to St. Davids tomorrow while Halifax Academy Middle School team host Rocky Mount Academy.
