The 2014 season kicks off as something new for Sadler.
For the first time in five years, Elliott Sadler will head to Daytona with the same owner, crew chief and team as the season prior. All three things will result in more trust in the team, gained confidence in crew chief, valued experience behind the wheel, and with one change that Sadler hopes to see - the championship.
Sadler stated, "I'm ready to get this season started. As a team, we had a great off season, and I was extremely impressed from the results during our Daytona testing in January. Daytona is always a wild card on our schedule, and there are a lot of series-wide changes this year that will make it quite interesting for the fans. In 2013, Sadler started in the sixth position and worked his way up to seventh by the midpoint of the race. Throughout the race, Elliott led 13 laps and had the fastest lap times three times, and he was able to bring home a 15th place finish.
Throughout the 2013 Nationwide Series season, Sadler finished with nine top-five and 20 top-10 finishes. Of the total 6012 laps ran during the 2013 season, the Emporia, Va., native completed 94 percent of them. Finishing the season fourth in driver championship point standings.

Sadler will hit the track Thursday for opening Nationwide Series practice for Saturdays The DRIVE4COPD 300 at Daytona International Speedway will be on ESPN at 1:15 p.m. E.T., on Saturday, Feb. 22, as well as MRN and SIRIUSXM 90.
