Halifax varsity softball placed 3rd at Wake Christian softball tournament this weekend

Halifax with a 1-1 record from day one faced host Wake Christian and earned the win 14-4. Hannah Clary earned the win on the mound.

Leading hitters were Hayley Wood with 3 singles and a double, Drew Rose with 2 singles and a double, Ryanne Hilliard had 3 singles while Hannah Clary, Jamie Harris, Candice Smith, Emily Conner and Meredith Harris each had a single.

Halifax has a 2-1 overall record.
