Halloween on the Farm will be held Saturday, and on October 25, there will be a trunk or treat event.
Both events are scheduled from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Faith Farms, located at 861 Trueblood Road in Halifax.
On Saturday, the event will feature local vendors, while the trunk or treat will feature community-focused local vendors and volunteers.
At each event, there will be free carnival games with guaranteed prizes, food trucks, fall concessions at The Farmer’s Wife Country Store, pumpkins and decorating, mums for purchase, a play area, a petting zoo, horse rides, and plenty of photo opportunities.
There will be a Haunted Forest Hayride as well as hayrides for children from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Adult hayrides are scheduled from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. The admission cost is $5, and the hayrides are $10.

Warrenton Harvest Moon Market
On October 11 from noon to 6 p.m., Main Street in Warrenton will host the Warren Harvest Moon Market.
There will be artisan vendor booths around the courthouse, a food court on Franklin Street, and the Warrenton Fire Department will hold a Touch-a-Truck event featuring emergency vehicles, tractors, construction, and other equipment.
The Kids Zone will feature horse rides with Ten Point Ranch, face painting, bounce houses, carnival games, and a pumpkin patch with decorating.
At 6 p.m., the square will have live music and a community dance. The Mary Selvidge Band will be the featured musical act.
Local businesses throughout downtown Warrenton will be open throughout the event.

Halifax County Arts Council’s Holiday Fusion Vendor Market
The Halifax County Arts Council invites artists of all backgrounds, mediums, and experience levels to showcase their work at the Holiday Arts Fusion Market on Saturday, November 8, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The showcase will be held at the arts council located at 1027 Roanoke Avenue.
There is a $40 vendor fee and no commission.
