The Roanoke Rapids Police Department is investigating the theft of a 16-foot utility trailer from a construction site at Halifax Regional.
Investigator Morgan Worrell said the trailer was stolen last Friday around 9 p.m.

The police department is trying to identify the owner of the vehicle, which can be seen in security photos driving away with the trailer.
