Two more positive cases of COVID-19 have been added to the Halifax County count today, bringing the total to 19.

Health Director Bruce Robistow said of the 19 cases, some are related and some are individuals from a variety of locations across the county.

It is known that three cases are linked to Caledonia Correctional Institution in Tillery, the state Department of Public Safety confirmed Wednesday.

Robistow said in a statement this morning, “Please continually practice staying at home, social distancing, hand washing and encourage everyone that you know to do the same.”
