Skate Jam at the Emry Park Skatepark will be held Saturday from 3 to 7 p.m.
This free community skate jam will celebrate the successful transformation of a former tennis court into a skatepark through a grassroots fundraising effort that raised more than $70,000 with the support of local residents, businesses, and sponsors.
The skate jam will feature skate competitions with prizes, raffles, music, local vendors and food trucks. Riders of all ages and skill levels are encouraged to participate, while spectators are also invited.
