The Halifax County Sheriff’s Office reported the following, according to Captain A.M. Harris:

On Tuesday shortly after 5 p.m. agents of the narcotics division and Selective Traffic Enforcement Program executed a search warrant at a residence on Taft Street in Roanoke Rapids.

Approximately 20 grams of cocaine, 17 oxycodone pills and marijuana was seized.

Agent D.J. Epperson arrested and charged Tommie Plum, 31, of Gaston for felony possession of cocaine.

Plum received a $5,000 bond and December 16 court date.

Epperson will continue to follow up on this residence.

On Monday shortly before noon, Geraldine Hyman, 50, of East Ninth Street in Roanoke Rapids surrendered to law enforcement at the Halifax County Sheriff's Office. 

Narcotics agents had obtained warrants on Hyman for sell marijuana, deliver marijuana, possession with intent to sell/deliver marijuana, maintaining a dwelling for a controlled substance and sell/deliver a controlled substance within 1,000 feet of a school.

Hyman received a $15,000 bond and December 16 court date.

 

On November 22 at approximately 4 p.m. Vermel Fenner, 36, of Holliday Drive in Enfield surrendered to Lieutenant J. Langley at the Halifax County Sheriff's Office. 

Agents of the narcotics division were seeking Fenner on warrants for conspiracy to sell/deliver marijuana, sell marijuana, deliver marijuana, possession with intent to sell/deliver marijuana and maintaining a dwelling for a controlled substance.

Fenner received a $6,000 bond and December 16 court date. 

This occurred at Fenner's residence and was investigated by Agent B.J. Murphy.
