The North Carolina Center for Missing Persons has issued a Silver Alert for a missing endangered man, Lacy Bunch.
Chief Deputy Scott Hall of the Halifax County Sheriff’s Office said Bunch was reported missing from the Bell Street area of Enfield around 7:30 this morning.
The 72-year-old man is believed to be suffering from dementia or some other cognitive impairment.
Hall said he was last seen walking around the Bell Street area. His direction of travel was not known.
He is 5-feet, 5-inches tall and weighs approximately 130 pounds.
His hair is red and he has brown eyes.
He was last seen wearing gray slacks and a black shirt but no shoes.
