The Halifax County Health Department today reported a 90.28 percent recovery rate by people who have had the novel coronavirus.
That translates to 4,327 recoveries out of a cumulative total of 4,793 patients who have been diagnosed with the virus since March.
The health department added 21 new positive cases today. There are 375 active patients. There are three cases in which the recovery or active status is not known.
The health department also added two related deaths today, which brings the total to 88.

Northampton County
The health department reported Tuesday there were 1,601 total positive cases of which 1,509 have recovered. There were 26 active cases. There have been 66 related deaths.
