A Scotland Neck man reported missing last week returned home and is safe and well, according to the Halifax County Sheriff’s Office.

Tremane Lamar Little returned home Saturday, Chief Deputy Scott Hall said.

The 37-year-old man was reported missing on May 5 by his family.

“The Halifax County Sheriff's Office would like to thank the following for their assistance throughout the case: Halifax County Emergency Management, Halifax County EMS, North Carolina Forestry, North Carolina State Highway Patrol Aviation, department of probation and parole, and the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation Fugitive and Missing Persons Taskforce.”
