Vidant North Hospital Auxiliary provided two $1,000 nursing scholarships.

The two recipients chosen were Robin Bohanon, RN, who works in the Joint Care Center and Nicole Garner, RN, who works on the Medical Step-Down Unit.

Vidant North Hospital’s Auxiliary is made up of volunteers throughout the Roanoke Valley and surrounding communities.

Fundraising efforts sponsored by the auxiliary and the volunteers are The Pines Gift Shop and vendor sales.

All of the money raised by the auxiliary is given back to the hospital for such things as equipment, education for team members, scholarships and technology.
