A barbecue plate sale will be held for the employees who were injured during a steam release at WestRock last week.

Wes Shearin and Ronnie Holt are holding the plate sale and are also doing the cooking.

The event will be held at Builders FirstSource on Tenth Street September 17 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

The $10 plates consist of barbecue, baked beans, coleslaw and a roll.

All proceeds will go to the injured employees.

Shearin and Holt are also seeking donations to buy the food and plates.
