The following amounts were seized:

Crack cocaine — 6 grams

Heroin — 9 grams

Powdered cocaine — 1 gram

Meth — 11 grams

In addition to the two counts of heroin trafficking, Harris faces two counts of possession with intent to sell or deliver, one count of felony possession of schedule I, two counts of felony possession of schedule II, and one count of possession of drug paraphernalia.

Harris was jailed without the opportunity for bond and has an April 27 district court date.

His name appears in the state court calendar more than 30 times for a January superior court on mainly numerous drug charges.

“We appreciate the assistance from the Halifax County Sheriff’s Office and will continue our efforts to deter the sale and distribution of narcotics in the Roanoke Valley,” Williams said.

Lieutenant J. Bozard and Agent S. Casey assisted.
