A Roanoke Rapids man who was reported missing has been located.

Lieutenant Shane Guyant of the Halifax County Sheriff’s Office said 37-year-old Paul Cotton is safe and was not injured.

Guyant said Cotton was in the process of being taken to his caretakers this morning.

He was reported missing late Tuesday night and had last been seen around 9 p.m. in the Pine Ridge Road area of Roanoke Rapids.
