The Northampton County Sheriff’s Office reported the following, according to Captain Patrick Jacobs:

On Monday Sergeant G. Williams responded to a location for a suspicious vehicle in the Pleasant Hill area.

Williams located 37-year-old Dawn Tripp of Gaston and determined she had outstanding warrants from Roanoke Rapids for habitual larceny.

She was arrested and served outstanding warrants. She received a $2,500 secured bond and an April 27 district court date.

On April 4 Deputy J. Comeaux served an outstanding warrant on 41-year-old Rahjon Willis of Chesterfield, Virginia for identity theft, obtaining property by false pretense, and exploitation of a disabled-elderly person.

He received a $10,000 secured bond.

The warrant stems from an investigation that began on October 24 by Sergeant W. Killian where it was reported money was stolen from a victim’s bank account in excess of $23,000.

There are three other suspects pending warrant service in this case investigation.

Willis has a June 29 district court date.
