Due to Friday’s rain forecast, the Center for Energy Education has moved its scheduled clean energy career fair from its Airport Road campus to William R. Davie Middle STEM Academy at 4391 Highway 158 in Roanoke Rapids.

The free event, which will showcase the range of available jobs and professions within the ever evolving and fast-growing clean energy domain, is set for Friday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Despite the alternate location, high school juniors and seniors from public and private schools in Halifax, Northampton, Warren, Bertie, Washington and Hertford Counties, as well as Greensville County, will visit tables of participating renewable energy representatives from industry, academia and community partners.
