Lake Gaston Coffee Company is expanding to a third location as Daphne's Coffee Shop located at 137 East South Main Street in Littleton transitions to become Lake Gaston Coffee Company at Daphne's — marking a significant step in the company's growth, its founder said.

"As a family-run micro-roastery that started in the Lake Gaston area in 2015, we're beyond excited to expand into historic downtown Littleton,” said Jason Shearin, the founder of Lake Gaston Coffee Company. “We have big plans for the space, including introducing sandwiches and perhaps some coffee-tasting classes in the coming months. This new location allows us to bring our passion for quality coffee to even more members of our community."

Ed Fitts, whose charitable foundation has spearheaded some of the growth in Littleton, said, "This partnership is part of our strategy to allow others to expand and grow. Daphne's Coffee Shop was named after my mother and features some of her artwork. I'm thrilled to see it evolve with such a recognizable and respected brand in the community."

Fitts said, “Our main objective in Littleton has always been to create job opportunities and help alleviate generational poverty. We're deeply grateful to our patrons who have supported us over the years — your loyalty has been instrumental in our mission. We wish Lake Gaston Coffee much success and are excited to see how they'll expand and enhance this space, further contributing to our community's growth.”

The transition will begin July 15 with Lake Gaston Coffee Company introducing menu and service hour changes over the next few weeks.
