Due to upcoming Visitor Center renovations, the Historic Halifax State Historic Site will be closed to the public from Wednesday until Thursday August 1. 

Visitor services operations will be relocated to the Tap Room during this time. 

Historic Halifax will reopen to the public for regular business at the temporary location in the Tap Room, 101 North King Street on the corner of King and Saint David streets in Halifax.  

A special program — Independence Comes to Halifax — will be presented at Historic Halifax on August 1 at 7 p.m.  

Light refreshments will be provided.
