A Roanoke Rapids man has been charged in connection to crimes at two locations in the city.

The Roanoke Rapids Police Department on Monday had sought the public's help in identifying a suspect.

Chief Chuck Hasty said in a statement at approximately 11:45 this morning investigators G. Williams and O. Wiltsie located Dale Maurice Williams, 31, in the 800 block of Cedar Street.

Williams had numerous outstanding warrants for breaking and entering.

Investigator J.K. Davis tied Dale Williams to two breaking and enterings at Perkinson's  around September 9 and September 17 and one at T.J. Davis Recreation Center on September 24.

Hasty said the connection was made by video surveillance and trace evidence left at the crime scenes.

Dale Williams was charged with three counts of breaking and entering; three counts of larceny after breaking and entering; three counts injury to property and breaking and entering a motor vehicle.

He received a $15,000 bond and December 5 court date.

Investigation continues and further charges may be filed.
