Four Trillium Health Resources leaders have been recognized for their outstanding work in addressing health disparities.
Cindy Ehlers, Senitria Goodman, Hayley Sink, and LaDonna Latney-Battle were selected as recipients of the Best Overall Project award from the Disparities Leadership Program.
The team was chosen from a competitive pool of seven healthcare organizations nationwide. “Their award is a testament to their innovative approach, dedication to equity, and successful implementation of strategies to improve health outcomes for underserved populations,” Trillium said.
The Disparities Leadership Program, led by the Disparities Solutions Center at Massachusetts General Hospital, is a nationally recognized initiative designed to equip healthcare leaders with the tools and knowledge necessary to eliminate racial and ethnic disparities in care.
"We are thrilled to honor Trillium Health Resources for their exceptional work in advancing health equity," said Aswita Tan-McGrory, director of the Disparities Solutions Center. "Their commitment to addressing disparities and improving quality of care for all is inspiring."
Joy B. Futrell, CEO of Trillium Health Resources, said, "This recognition is a validation of our ongoing efforts to create a more equitable healthcare system. We are dedicated to ensuring that everyone in our community has access to the care they need to thrive."
