James Eric Moody, age 52, son of Melvin and Frances Moody passed away July 25, 2023 in Roanoke Rapids, NC. 

Eric was a graduate of Northwest High School. After graduation, Eric attended Fayetteville State University and later joined the US Navy. 

Eric retired from the Navy and continued his medical profession until his death.

Eric leaves behind his wife Masako and son Hiroki, brothers Jeffrey Moody of Tampa, FL, Roderick Moody of Roanoke Rapids, NC and a host of relatives and friends.

Eric will be laid to rest at the Eastern Carolina State Veterans Cemetery, Goldsboro, NC.
