Gladie Hazel Carico, 95, of Roanoke Rapids, NC, died Thursday, May 30, 2019, at Halifax Regional Medical Center.

Mrs. Carico was born in Carroll County, VA, the daughter of the late Sidney Jones and Mintie Cox Jones.

She was the widow of John Columbus Carico and a homemaker. She was a member of East Tenth Street Church of Christ.

Surviving are: two daughters, Beverly Jones and her husband Ronald of Mooresville, NC and Brenda Strauss and her husband Mark of Hillsville, VA; a son Leslie Carico and his wife Jeri of Gaston, NC; six grandchildren and many great grandchildren.

Service, 1015 West Fifth Street, Roanoke Rapids, NC, 1:00 to 1:45 PM Sunday, June 2, 2019. Graveside Services will follow in Crestview Memorial Cemetery, at 2:00 PM, with Minister Jason Yeatts officiating.
