Lucy Edna Murfee, 87, died Monday June 24, 2019 at Signature HealthCare of Roanoke Rapids.

Lucy was a native of Halifax County, the daughter of the late Hugh Franklin Murfee and Mary Allen Murfee. She was a dedicated Registered Nurse for over 40 years.

Lucy is survived by her brothers; Ray Murfee of Roanoke Rapids, Horace Murfee and his wife Ruby of Dunn, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Graveside Services will be held Thursday, June 27, 2019 at 1:00 P.M. at Old Cedarwood Cemetery with Minister Daniel West officiating.
